Thank you hokkaidoabbey. They are from the cemetery that my wife and I run. I planted 10 of these 4 years ago and they are really looking great. We are an old garden cemetery and in our 3rd century of operation. We have trees from Hundreds of Mapels, hundreds of hydrangea and our own Japenese Weeping Cheeries. We even have a couple of surviving American Elms. Animals we have Black Squirrels, turkeys, deer and bear and occasional red fox families. Truly a place to get lost in with a camera. It is great fun. My days are not long enough. I would love to be in Japan for Cherry Blossom time.
